Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Hartford Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations and support the DON in delivering high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes attention to policies, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to ensure excellent care across the facility.

The candidate will bring detailed orientation, organizational skills, and knowledge of government regulations, helping train stakeholders to provide the best care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with current state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies and government regulations.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.
