Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Harrodsburg, KY is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing who is highly detailed, organized, and knowledgeable about nursing policies and regulations.

You will support the DON, manage nursing department operations, and delegate duties to Charge Nurses and Supervisors to ensure quality care and compliance. Requires active RN license and CPR certification; 3+ years nursing with 1–2 years leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in the state.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• One to two years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

Overview

The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, great knowledge of policies and governmental regulations.

How you Will make a difference

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies, and standards of nursing practices and government regulations, so as to maintain quality care.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
