Job summary

Harrodsburg Health & Rehab Center, part of Signature HealthCARE, is recruiting an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations and ensure quality resident care in a 112-bed facility.

The ADON will support the DON, supervise the Charge Nurses, and help implement policies while maintaining regulatory compliance; an RN license, CPR certification, and several years of nursing and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• One to two years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies and standards of nursing practices and government regulations, to maintain quality care.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.
