Job summary

Rockcastle Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Signature HealthCARE, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Nursing Department in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and standards while coordinating daily operations with DON and supervisory staff.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and well-versed in applicable policies and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with current license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies and government regulations to maintain quality care.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their duties.
