Job summary

Signature HealthCARE LLC in Danville, KY, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the DON in ensuring quality patient care within the Nursing Department. The role emphasizes attention to detail, policy compliance, and effective staff delegation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates will have RN licensure, 3+ years of nursing experience, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with an active state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies and standards of nursing practices and government regulations.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.

The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, great knowledge of policies and governmental regulations.
