Job summary

Brickyard Healthcare seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to help plan, coordinate, and manage the nursing department at our Tell City location.

The role focuses on directing nursing care, maintaining quality aligned with standards, and stepping in for the Director of Nursing when needed. Licensed RN with management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is required, plus CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents.
• Maintains quality care that is consistent with company and regulatory standards.
• Assumes responsibilities of daily operations in the absence of Director of Nursing (RN).

Qualifications:

• Currently Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice required -- in good standing
• One to three (1-3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care. Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification.
