Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Preventionist (LPN) to lead the clinical team, promote excellent resident care, and shape a compassionate, collaborative culture. The role focuses on infection prevention, staff mentorship, and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN license is required.
• Infection Preventionist Certification is required.
• Prior experience managing staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with facility leadership and medical director on infection prevention goals and action plans.
• Establish a facility-wide system for prevention, identification, investigation and control of infections.
• Maintain records of staff development programs for all personnel.
• Ensure nursing staff meet standards, practices and regulatory requirements for high-quality care.
• Oversee nursing department budgets in coordination with administration.
• Implement compliance and quality improvement policies, programs and procedures.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new nursing staff.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Preventionist Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing is preferred
• Infection Preventionist Certification required
• Prior experience managing staff required

Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Preventionist Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection prevention goals and action plan
• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors. This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility
• Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care
• Overseeing the implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration
• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures
• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
