Apploi is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing in Texas to provide leadership for the Skilled Nursing Home operations. The ADON will work under the Director of Nurses, assisting in personnel, orientation, supervision, and staffing.

They will help investigate unusual occurrences and ensure resident rights are protected. The role requires RN or LVN licensure with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and assessment skills.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing or LVN program.
• Current nursing licensure in the state; RN preferred.
• 2+ years supervision experience.
• Good mental and physical health.
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to work with all levels of personnel.
• Clear English communication (speech and writing).
• Administrative ability with professional competence and flexibility.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and county laws governing skilled care facilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Nurses in supervision and direction of nursing staff.
• Oversee staff orientation, supervision, and staffing as instructed by the Director.
• Review resident records and reports; assist investigations of unusual occurrences or abuse.
• Ensure resident rights are protected and upheld in daily operations.
