Advena Living in Kansas is seeking a senior nursing leader to blend daily operations with resident assessment oversight. You will coach the nursing team, sponsor MDS processes from admission to discharge, and ensure documentation supports quality outcomes and resident-centered care.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory readiness, and collaboration across disciplines, with opportunities to impact care plans and staffing in a dynamic long-term care setting.

You will support the Director of Nursing, guide the nursing team, and coordinate MDS activities from admission through discharge—all with a focus on accurate documentation, quality outcomes, and resident-centered care.

What You’ll Do

• Help ensure care plans reflect each resident’s current needs and goals.
• Assist with staffing, education, quality initiatives, and regulatory readiness.
• Provide clinical supervision and direct resident care.

What You’ll Bring

• Current, unencumbered Kansas LPN, RN license, or multistate RN license.
• Previous MDS experience required.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident assessment requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.
