Job summary

Advena Living on Woodlawn is seeking a clinical leader to influence daily nursing operations and the resident assessment process. You will support the Director of Nursing, guide the nursing team, and coordinate MDS activities from admission through discharge with a focus on accurate documentation, quality outcomes, and resident-centered care.

The role requires Kansas-licensed RNs or LPNs with MDS experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• MDS experience required.
• Knowledge of long‑term care regulations and resident assessment requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and team leadership.
• Coordinate MDS assessments, schedules, documentation, and interdisciplinary participation.
• Help ensure care plans reflect each resident’s current needs and goals.
• Assist with staffing, education, quality initiatives, and regulatory readiness.
