Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Hershey, PA, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight, staff development, and high‑quality resident care in a homelike setting.

This full‑time dayshift role requires RN/LPN licensure in PA, 2–4 years of leadership in care settings, strong communication, and proficiency with PointClickCare. Starting salary $81,120+ plus a comprehensive benefits package and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in PA.
• 2–4 years clinical nursing experience in assisted living, personal care, or long‑term care.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight and resident care.
• Direct nursing services as needed to support resident health and safety.
• Oversee head‑to‑toe assessments and care planning for new and returning residents.
• Participate in wellness team meetings and coordinate ongoing resident assessments.
• Monitor quality of care and ensure consistency in clinical practices.
• Complete and review required assessments for assigned residents.
• Maintain open communication with residents, families, physicians, and care teams.
• Support staff development and supervising personal care staff.
