Saber-Healthcare-Group is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in managing the SNF Nursing Service. You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high standards of resident care and ensure compliance with all applicable policies.

The role requires an RN license, at least two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare facility, and solid computer skills including electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state you work in.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare setting.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service functions.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high quality resident care.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and established nursing procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday
