Job summary

The Saber Healthcare Group is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in a SNF setting. You will help plan and manage daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with standards and policies.

You will work with a stable leadership team to maintain high-quality resident care, while encouraging staff development and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare facility, preferably long term care.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service operations.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high quality of care.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and nursing procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to‑day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
