Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN

Join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at The Gardens at West Shore, a 269-bed skilled nursing facility located in Camp Hill, PA.

Position Details

• Full-Time: Monday through Friday schedule

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and oversee the Nursing Service Department operations.
• Participate in resident admission processes, including interviewing and screening.
• Ensure proper documentation of residents' treatment, medications, and conditions by reviewing nurses’ notes.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care.
• Communicate with physicians and visit selected residents.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including implementing RAPs and triggers, in collaboration with the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in good standing.
• At least 1 year of RN supervisory experience as an ADON or DNS in a long-term care setting.
