Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing in Brecksville, OH to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing daily SNF Nursing Service operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain the highest standard of resident care while complying with applicable regulations and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of work.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing and directing day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and infection control policies.
• Follow Nursing Policies and Procedures as established by the facility.

Position Summary

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education / Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
