Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Virginia seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department. The role emphasizes compliance with federal, state and local standards while maintaining high care quality for residents.

You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to uphold infection control policies, guide staff, and ensure consistent practices across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar setting, preferably long-term care.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service operations.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

• Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
