Pay, Benefits and Perks of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
- $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates

Essential Functions of ADON:
The ADON works under the direction of the DON to:
- Provide personal care to residents ensuring safety and comfort, adhering to policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with relevant services.
- Ensure 24/7 nursing services are provided.
- Maintain job descriptions for nursing staff and support cultural practices that do not harm or interfere with medical therapy.
- Recommend staffing modifications for optimal resident care.
- Document and report all incidents in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Represent nursing staff on various committees.
- Make rounds daily, participate in performance improvement, and collaborate with other departments.
- Ensure assessments and reassessments are performed and documented properly.
- Interpret test results, assess residents’ pain, and educate residents and families.
- Promote a safe, clean environment and ensure equipment functionality.
- Lead and role model team behavior, abide by policies, and notify physicians of any changes in resident conditions.
- Implement care plans, attend meetings, and coordinate with administration on budgeting and staffing.
- Support infection control, safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a respectful, dignified environment respecting residents’ rights.
- React decisively in emergencies, support the center, and promote teamwork and positive relations.
- Complete required training and adhere to dress and conduct standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Leadership/management experience preferred
- RN or LPN license in good standing
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to react quickly in emergencies
- Confidentiality and basic computer skills
- Compassion, organizational skills, and commitment to excellence
