Nexus Health in Waterloo, IL is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in daily operations, ensuring resident care quality, regulatory compliance, and staff performance.

The ADON will provide clinical leadership, supervise nursing activities, participate in admission assessments, and help train the nursing team to maintain a safe, resident-centered environment.

Formación

• Active RN license in Illinois and in good standing.
• 2 years of professional experience in long-term care, preferably as an ADON.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare and medical software.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and delegate nursing activities.
• Evaluate performance of the nursing department and suggest improvements.
• Conduct patient rounds and address complaints.
• Monitor and train the nursing staff.
• Ensure all insurance paperwork for incoming residents is in order.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Illinois and in good standing
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
• Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
