Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice in Springfield, MO, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a mission-driven team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday daytime role designed for an experienced nurse advancing into leadership or expanding an established leadership background.

You will support clinical operations, guide nursing staff, and ensure high-quality, compliant, compassionate care. The position emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and collaborative patient

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in hospice.
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, compassionate, and solution-oriented mindset.

We are adding to our already amazing team! Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a strong clinical leader to step into an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role in Springfield. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who is ready to grow into leadership or continue building on an established leadership background.

As ADON, you will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, guiding nursing staff, and ensuring patients receive high quality, compliant, and compassionate care. You will play a key role in both the day-to-day success of the team and the long-term growth of the department.

What You Will Do
