As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the Director of Nursing in planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department, including infection prevention management.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying current licensure and credentials of nursing staff
• Scheduling and performing guest rounds to monitor and evaluate nursing care quality
• Maintaining proper charting, documentation of care, medications, and treatments
• Developing and implementing staffing plans and schedules based on guest needs
• Participating in budgeting for nursing supplies, equipment, and staffing
• Staying current with healthcare regulations, reimbursement systems, and Medicaid/Medicare policies
• Assigning responsibilities to staff considering guest safety and staff qualifications

Qualifications for ADON:

• RN with management or supervisory experience in long-term or geriatric care
• Current CPR certification
