Job summary

HC&N Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. The role partners with the Director of Nursing to supervise daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent resident care.

The ADON will oversee RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, monitor care plans and documentation, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment.

• Familiarity with CMS regulations and state survey requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with overall management and supervision of the nursing department.

Salary: Up to $130,000 per year

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on clinical leader who is passionate about resident care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, support clinical staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure the highest standards of resident care.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility required.
• Prior experience as an ADON, Unit Manager, Clinical Manager, or Nurse Supervisor strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey requirements, and SNF clinical standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to quality resident care.
