Qualifications

• New York State RN license is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care.
• Proven ability to train, lead, and manage clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage Care Standards: Uphold high standards of care across the nursing team.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations and standards with effective communication across staff levels.
• Resident Care: Address residents' nursing needs with individualized, compassionate care and care planning.
• Develop Care Plans: Assist in developing and implementing personalized nursing care plans.
• Staff Training & Leadership: Support and train nursing staff and stay current with best practices.
• Documentation & Records: Oversee timely completion of medical records and resident documentation.
• Staff Recruitment & Onboarding: Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff.
• Scheduling Flexibility: Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet facility needs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rome. In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the highest standards of care for our residents, while working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to support and lead our dedicated nursing team. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care and the overall success of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Care Standards: Uphold exceptional standards of care across the nursing team, ensuring a high level of service for all residents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards while fostering effective communication and teamwork at all levels of nursing staff.
• Resident Care: Address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring individualized, compassionate care and effective care planning.
• Develop Care Plans: Assist in the development and implementation of personalized nursing care plans for residents.
• Staff Training & Leadership: Support and train nursing staff, ensuring the team is current with best practices and clinical advancements.

What We’re Looking For:
