Job summary

Fletcher Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. You will help plan, direct, and supervise nursing staff and ensure high-quality care for Residents.

The successful candidate will hold an associates degree in nursing, be a graduate of an accredited program, possess current RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of RN experience; 5 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as Registered Nurse.
• CPR Certification.
• 2 years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the nursing staff.
• Ensure the Nursing Department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and update department policy and procedures as needed.
• Assist with staffing to ensure Resident needs and regulatory requirements are met.
• Conduct annual performance reviews of subordinate staff and provide guidance and education as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings and in-services.

Required Education And Experience

• C.P.R. Certified
• 2 years R.N. experience

Preferred Education And Experience

• 5 years R.N. experience
• Previous experience managing a Nursing department
