Quality Life Services in Chicora, PA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead resident care and supervise nursing staff. The ADON will report to the Director of Nursing and work to ensure high-quality care for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an active PA RN license, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and have experience in nursing administration within a skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active PA license.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective actions.
• Make daily resident rounds and report to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Collect admission information to determine appropriate level of care.
• Review Quality Indicator reports and implement actions to improve care.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action.
• Make daily resident rounds and report status of nursing care to the Director of Nursing Service and Administrator.
• Collect resident pre-admission and/or admission information and assist Director of Nursing to determine appropriate level of care.
• Participate in review of Quality Indicator reports and implementation of corrective actions to improve resident care.
• Assist with analysis of incident and accident investigation reports to determine cause(s) and implement corrective action(s), when appropriate.
• Review reports of timely completion of residents’ MDS assessments and care plans with follow-up action as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed Registered Nurse
• Active license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Health care industry experience preferred
