RIDGECREST HEALTH & REHAB in DeLand, FL is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead administrative and clinical operations within the Nursing Department. The ADON will support overall facility operations, ensuring compliance with policies, nursing standards, and regulations to promote high-quality resident care.

Requirements include an active Florida RN license, at least 3 years of nursing experience (long-term care preferred), 1–2 years of supervisory experience, CPR

• Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records
• Assist with interviewing, hiring and orienting of new nursing staff
• Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs

Summary of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

The Assistant Director of Nursing will manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department. The ADON supports the overall operation of the facility, assuring adherence to company policies, standards of nursing practices, and government regulations, in order to promote the highest quality care for our residents and patients.

Requirements of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

• Registered Nurse in good standing with required current Florida state license.
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience.
• Experience in Long Term Care Nursing.
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
