Job summary

Harmony Utica Ridge is seeking a Unit Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing to join our skilled nursing team. You will oversee the Clinical Department, help set and achieve nursing goals, and ensure regulatory compliance to maintain a high standard of care for residents.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
• Unencumbered Iowa LPN or RN license, CPR certification, and two years of LPN/RN experience.
• Five years of LPN/RN management experience is preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
• Assist with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture and setting Nursing Department goals.
• Ensure the department complies with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

As Unit Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Utica Ridge by assisting with overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, assisting with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, ensuring the nursing department is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) or Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification and two (2) years of L.P.N. or R.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department and five (5) years of L.P.N. / R.N. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
