As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the Director of Nursing and help plan, coordinate, and manage the nursing department. You will also be responsible for infection prevention management.

When you work with Laurel Health Care Company, you will join an experienced, dedicated team that values communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that strategies are in place to verify the current licensure and credentials of nursing staff.
  • Assist with scheduling and guest rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care.
  • Maintain proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
  • Develop and implement staffing plans and schedules that meet guest needs.
  • Participate in the facility's budget process, helping to manage nursing supplies, equipment, and staffing budgets.
  • Stay informed about regulations related to managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement systems.
  • Assign responsibilities to staff considering guest safety and staff qualifications.

Qualifications for ADON:

  • Registered nurse (RN) with management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
