About your role as an Assistant Director of Nursing: With care and compassion, you will provide quality nursing care to all residents, ensuring they receive the best treatment and a comfortable, safe environment. You will also support nursing staff.

Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Director of Nursing:

• Provide exceptional nursing services.
• Work on the floor at times and oversee the med cart.
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation.
• Be flexible, compassionate, and dependable.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing/medical practices, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
• Manage supervisory and nursing support staff.
• Review staff performance and ensure adherence to state standards of quality care.
• Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed.
• Assist with daily nursing department functions and conduct patient rounds.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with residents, staff, management, and families.
• Collaborate with the Director to address departmental deficiencies with correction plans.
• Identify and resolve quality assurance issues.
• Train new nursing staff.
• Assist with care plans and assessments.
• Participate in care conferences.
• This position will be on an on-call rotation with the Director of Care.

About You: You have excellent customer service skills, are flexible, compassionate, and dependable. Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus, but all nurses are encouraged to apply!

• Valid Ohio Nursing License.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and complaints.
