Job summary

The Villa at Texarkana is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing for a Monday–Friday, 8–5, full-time management role with strong benefits. Long-term care experience is preferred and will be a key asset as you lead infection control, admissions processes, and staff oversight.

You will coordinate with physicians and nurse practitioners, manage weights, oversee MAR, and ensure compliant orders and documentation in Point Click Care.

Qualifications

• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with infection control.
• Familiarity with admissions and readmissions processes.
• Ability to coordinate with physicians and NP.
• Proficient in MAR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Infection control duties and audits.
• Handling weights-related tasks.
• Weekly supply ordering.
• Maintain Point Click Care documentation.
• Rounding with physicians and NP as needed.
• Oversee all admissions and readmissions for 72 hours.
• Obtain patient med consent forms.
• Call MD for orders; enter and print MAR.
• Complete staff check-offs and nurse on-call rotations.
• Other duties as assigned.
