American Medical Administrators MGMT Company in Saint Louis, MO, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing team, oversee patient care, and ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA standards.

The ADON will develop policies, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans, while upholding resident rights and quality of care. Strong leadership and prior ADON/DON experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice with prior DON/ADON experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience with MDS/Care Plans and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.
• Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents
• Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
  Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
