Job summary

Meadowbrook Respiratory & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This RN leader will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and drive quality outcomes for residents.

The ADON will ensure CMS and state regulatory compliance, participate in QA initiatives, and support survey readiness while coaching staff across shifts in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience in subacute, respiratory, or ventilator care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of the nursing department.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on all shifts.
• Conduct clinical rounds and follow up on resident concerns.
