Job summary

Maggie’s Place is a boutique senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. We seek an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who is a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse with active state licensure and CPR certification to join our Nursing Management Team.

The ADON will supervise nursing staff, oversee service plan initiation, assess residents, and help ensure high-quality resident care while supporting a positive work

Qualifications

  • Must hold current RN or LPN licensure in the appropriate state.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees initiation and updating of service plans for residents.
  • Assists in delivering nursing care for residents.
  • Evaluates current residents and admissions to determine appropriate level of care.
  • May assist with hiring, orientation, and retention of nursing staff.
  • Completes residents assessments in a timely manner as directed.
  • Participates in service plan meetings and completes audits as assigned.
  • Participates in on-call rotation as needed.

If the selected candidate is an LPN, continued employment is contingent upon enrollment and active progress in an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program. The employee agrees to begin the RN program within six (6) months of the employment start date and to complete the program within its standard duration.
