Centurion Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for the Reception and Medical Center (Main Unit) in Lake Butler, FL. The ADON will supervise nursing and support staff, provide clinical leadership, and work with multidisciplinary teams in a correctional setting.

Qualifications include a RN license (state), a degree (B.S./A.S. in Nursing), and CPR certification, with preference for prior correctional supervision experience. Willingness to obtain necessary clearances is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in Nursing with RN license and 2+ years of experience.
• Must hold a valid RN license in the applicable state.
• Must show/obtain PPD documentation for TB screening.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Prior experience supervising nursing staff preferred.
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff.
• Collaborate with DON and leadership to improve health care for incarcerated offenders in a correctional setting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, protocols and security requirements.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Reception and Medical Center (Main Unit) located in Lake Butler, FL.The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff.
