CareOne at Concord, MA is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing to balance patient care quality with staff development and regulatory compliance. The role supports the Director of Nursing in leadership, policy interpretation, and educational program integrity.

The position requires RN licensure in Massachusetts, a minimum of two years of nursing supervision, and travel for regional or corporate activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in managing the nursing department to maintain quality standards of care and provide consultation to medical staff and administrators
• Contribute to nursing philosophy interpretation and assist in setting departmental goals and objectives
• Assist with regulatory compliance and ensure effective communication across nursing staff to promote care delivery
• Support positive employee relations, customer service, and ongoing staff education and training; may supervise in the DON's absence
• Ensure integrity of educational programs offered within the facility
• Lead staff development initiatives and mentor employees toward leadership roles within the corporation

Salary Range: $112K - $125K per year.

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials and any other relevant information.

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team!

• Assist the DON in the management of the nursing department in to maintain quality standards of care, including consultation to medical staff, department heads, and Administrator in matters related to nursing service.
• Provide input into interpretation of nursing philosophy and assists in establishing departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist the Director of Nursing with regulatory compliance and ensure effective communication strategies with all levels of nursing staff to promote effective care delivery.
• Along with the Director of Nursing, promote positive employee relations, strong customer service ethic and commitment to ongoing staff education and training, May exercise direction over the department in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure Integrity of educational programs offered within the facility.

• Identify current employees to be mentored into both personal and career advancement towards leadership position within the corporation

Position Requirements

• A minimum of one year of long-term or acute health care experience preferred.
• At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
• Travel as required for regional or corporate meetings and marketing duties.
• Currently licensed as RN in state of practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
