Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Assistant Director of Nursing at the Metropolitan Transition Center in Baltimore, MD. Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in Maryland.
• Progressive nursing care experience with at least 2 years of supervisory responsibility.

• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

The ADON (Medical) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. This person works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with the medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated offenders.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred


• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred


• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS


• Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
