Paramount Hospitality Management seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Housekeeping to lead the department at the Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort in Orlando. This 652-room full-service resort features 20,000+ sq ft of meeting space in the heart of the tourist district.

Qualifications

2-4 years’ work experience as Housekeeping Manager in Hotel or Resort environment.
3+ years of prior experience in hotel/resort of 500+ rooms (A MUST).
80 % of the time is spent on the floor and around the resort supervising the team.
Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
Must possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Housekeeping to keep all costs at or below budgeted guidelines.
Check 40 guest rooms and 3 documented visitations daily to ensure consistency.
Ensure calls handled by housekeeping dispatch are addressed with proper follow-up.
Train and supervise all new housekeepers and provide ongoing training.
Monitor housekeepers’ performance and reinforce high standards.
Conduct spot checks on housekeepers and final inspections on deep cleans.
Create maintenance work orders and manage inventory of unit assets.
Ensure quick turnover for back-to-back bookings and report damages.
