This hotel is the destination for upscale hospitality, imaginative dining, and world-class events. With the legendary Georgia World Congress Center as their backdrop, this 976-room property showcases the soul of Atlanta in a whole new way! The leader will report to the Food and Beverage Director, while leading 8 managers across 7 food and beverage outlets overseeing $14 million in revenue.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of food and beverage management experience overseeing multiple high-volume outlets. Proven ability to motivate and train large teams in a large hotel environment is essential!

Expected schedule: 12 pm to 10 pm, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, you will assist in managing all hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurants, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.), ensuring outstanding guest service and financial success. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing operations including guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory, reservations, systems, budgeting, marketing, reporting, and meetings.
• Monitoring and developing team performance through supervision, training, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
• Developing menus and marketing strategies with the culinary team.
• Assessing service and satisfaction trends, addressing issues, and implementing improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and training team members.
