Job summary

Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, IL is seeking an Assistant Director of Facility Services to lead facility operations and safety across all sites. This full-time role reports to the Director of Facilities and requires overseeing compliance with relevant regulations while delivering high-quality services for residents and staff.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with a competitive salary of $70,000–$75,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of previous manager experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare facility operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with IDPH/DHS regulations and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Facilities in all buildings and sites.
• Chair the Safety Committee with input from the Risk Management Committee.
• Maintain knowledge of IDPH, Life Safety Code, local/state/federal fire codes, DHS regulations, ISBE guidelines.
• Implement new regulations and corrective action plans for deficiencies.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position for anAssistant Director of Facility Services. This is an full-time position at Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, IL. The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday, 8a-4p. The salary for this position is $70,000- $75,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the joband to meet its functional and environmental requirements.

The Assistant Director of Facility Services willoversee Facility Services for all Marklund sites, ensuring compliancewith all applicable laws and regulations while promoting high-qualityservices for residents, students, and clients. They will serve as thecompany Safety Officer, overseeing the Safety Committee and assistingthe Director or Facility Services as the organization's representativeon construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Director of Facilities in all organization buildingsand sites.
• Chair the Safety Committee with input from the Risk Management Committee.
• Maintain current knowledge of IDPH, Life Safety Code, local,state, and federal fire codes, DHS regulations, ISBE regulations andinterpretive guidelines.
• Implement new regulations, interpretive guidelines and correctiveaction plans related to cited deficiencies.

The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.
