Job summary

The Boston Architectural College is seeking an Assistant Director of Exploratory Education to recruit and advise engaged learners outside degree programs. The role is full-time, hybrid, with at least 2 days in the office and reporting to the Director of Exploratory Education.

You will manage communications for courses, maintain CRM data in Salesforce, support Summer Academy and Pre-College initiatives, and collaborate with Admissions and International Student Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in higher education.
• 1–3 years' experience in admissions, marketing and/or continuing education preferred.
• Excellent communication and consultative skills, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Hybrid work flexibility with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment for engaged learners within Exploratory Education.
• Attend open houses and meet with students and families regarding Exploratory Education opportunities.
• Manage communications each semester for courses/opportunities offered.
• Manage CRM data in Salesforce to cultivate inquiries and provide effective communications to all learners; past, present, and future.
• Support new certificate program creation.
• Track engaged learners as compared to goals.
• Advise certificate students on progress, course sequence and offerings.
• Manage the external website content for all engaged learners within Exploratory Education.
• Manage administrative functions for the Summer Academy program.
• Assist the Director with Pre-College initiatives.
• Assist with administering grants for specific initiatives.
• Work with Admissions and International Student Services regarding exchange and visiting students.
• Manage the awarding and tracking of digital badges.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Assistant Director of Exploratory EducationPOSITION SUMMARY:The Boston Architectural College (BAC) is committed to providing all our students an integrated and exemplary educational experience while ensuring their individual success and empowering them to fully actualize their potential.The Assistant Director of Exploratory Education will focus on the recruitment, advising of all engaged learners outside of our degree programs. At least 2 days a week in person will be required. Days in the office may vary depending on the time of year and the needs of the office.Must be able to work flexible hours in accordance with the academic season.Salary Range: $54,000-$62,000
