Qualifications

• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory dietary role, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of DOH regulations and dietary compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the dietary department, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Develop and implement menus that meet therapeutic and cultural needs.
• Train and supervise dietary staff to uphold sanitation and service standards.
• Coordinate with nursing and administrative teams to support resident care plans.
• Monitor food safety protocols and conduct regular audits.
