Job summary

Excelcare at Norwood is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility in Norwood, NJ. You will assist with meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean dining environment to ensure residents receive quality meals and excellent service.

Responsibilities include delivering trays, adhering to dietary guidelines, and supporting dietary and nursing staff. Requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas.
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware.
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation.
• Provide snacks and hydration as directed.

• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff.
