Job summary

Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. You will hire qualified hospice personnel, oversee the provision of hospice services, and coordinate evaluations while establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations.

The role requires implementing policies, monitoring staff performance, and supporting clinical policy development.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in the state(s) of practice.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience; hospice experience preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical and project management skills.
• Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.

• Monitor nursing staff performance and address QA issues.
• Clinical policy and procedure support.
• Assist the Director in identifying and resolving nursing department deficiencies.

The Assistant Director of Clinical Services works under the Director to provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team. They are responsible for hiring of qualified hospice personnel: the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; and establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. The duties include but are not limited to:

• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues
• Clinical policy and procedure support
• Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies
• Monitoring implementation of correction plans

Qualifications
