Responsibilities include supervising program development, managing the fire extinguisher program, coordinating inspections, and supporting safety training and incident investigations with facilities, researchers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments across labs, academic labs, farms, industrial shops, construction sites, warehouses, offices to promote compliance with regulations and campus policies.
• Provide ongoing support during corrective actions including re-evaluations, monitoring, selection of control measures, and training.
• Supervise and direct development and delivery of safety programs, review work for quality, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.
• Plan, organize and assist campus with field implementation of occupational safety and health programs and services; evaluate and modify policies for efficiency.
