Job summary

Michiana Behavioral Health, a UHS facility in Plymouth, Indiana, seeks an Assistant Director of MHT Services to oversee acute and residential nursing units within therapeutic milieu management, including de-escalation and staff competency.

You will lead onboarding, coordinate monthly unit meetings, provide ongoing training, and flex into inpatient staffing as needed in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• Experience working with children and adolescents a plus.
• One to three years experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
• Deliver effective on-boarding and orientation for new Skill Leaders and Mental Health Technicians.
• Assist in coordination of monthly unit meetings.
• Assist in on-going training for seasoned staff.
• Flexes into inpatient staffing when necessary.
