Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as an Executive Housekeeper for a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel.
• Attention to detail, speed and accuracy; ability to prioritize and stay organized.
• Good judgement, calm demeanor, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage payroll and budget control.
• Knowledge of laundry operations and chemical handling; OSHA compliance.
• Fluency in English; other languages preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure daily standards are superior; maintain ultimate cleanliness and enforce rules.
• Coordinate with HR for employee training; develop schedules within labor laws.
• Maintain payroll control and close liaison with Front Office for guest flow.
• Provide daily inspections to ensure hotel standards and address issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering on repairs and equipment maintenance.
• Manage linen inventory for guestrooms and F&B; supervise uniform issuance.
• Prepare annual budgets for Housekeeping, FF&E, equipment and uniforms.
• Monitor chemicals, vendor relations and OSHA compliance; attend meetings.
• Oversee Laundry department operations and quality control; ensure linen availability.
