Job summary

The Peninsula Library System (PLS) and the Pacific Library Partnership (PLP) seek an experienced administrator to support the Executive Director. This role oversees systems operations, budgets, contracts, and program delivery across multiple member libraries and collaborating agencies.

In collaboration with committees and executive councils, the position develops services, manages staff performance, and advances strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library science (ALA-accredited) preferred.
• Five or more years of professional library experience, with at least three in administrative or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in planning, directing and managing services, activities and operations for PLS, PLP, and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with Executive Committees, Administrative Councils and other governing bodies to advance strategic plans and programs.
• Develop professional development opportunities and share innovative service trends with member libraries.
