Champaign Unit 4 Schools is seeking an Assistant Director of Kids Plus-Staff Development to lead professional growth initiatives and support instructional excellence across our district. The role requires strong leadership, data-informed decision making, and the ability to collaborate with diverse staff and school leaders.

Salary starts at $60,631 with 100% board-paid health, dental, and life insurance; minimal vision cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred).
• Experience with diverse populations, preferably in a school setting.
• Understanding of learning theory and its application to practice.
• Knowledge of effective, research-based instructional strategies.
• Ability to make data-informed decisions.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behavior of children.
• Ability to be flexible to meet the needs and interests of children.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and other financial matters.
• Willingness and ability to work hours outside a traditional school setting.
