Job summary

La Petite Academy seeks an Assistant Director to oversee safe, effective school operations with the School Director and to drive development of social, physical, and intellectual growth in children. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director assumes sole responsibility for the school and supports staff and families.

The role emphasizes accountability to licensing, safety, and educational quality, with a focus on hiring and maintaining quality caregivers and fostering a positive school

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
