Job summary

La-Petite-Academy is seeking an Assistant Director to support safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you will assume sole responsibility for the school and help drive the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children under our care.

You will be accountable for licensing compliance, staff recruitment, and maintaining a caring, safe environment. A strong leader who motivates teams and upholds our standards will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school operations with the Director to ensure safety and compliance with licensing standards.
• Assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, train, and retain quality staff to support a positive learning environment.
