Job summary

The Chickaloon Village Traditional Council seeks a Health and Social Services Assistant Director to lead the Health & Social Services Department in Sutton, Alaska. This role directs staff, oversees programs, and ensures culturally centered, ethical services for CVTC citizens and the community.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of leadership support experience, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets and grants in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience supporting leadership with special projects or equivalent supervisory roles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to model professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational guidance and supervision to Health & Social Services staff.
• Manage expenditures and grants; ensure compliance with policies and reporting.
